Tofu Skewers

New to Tofu? After this delish dish there’s no looking back.  


  • Red and yellow peppers, onion and zucchini cut into large chunks
  • 15 oz firm tofu cut into large chunks
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce


Place tofu and vegetables in a bowl. In a small bowl mix all sauces and spices and pour over tofu and vegetables. Toss lightly. Marinate for 1-hour in the fridge. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Place tofu and vegetables on skewers, then grill for ten minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Helpful hint: if using wooden skewers, soak in water for ten minutes before putting on the barbeque.
